2008 3D Equipment Classes

Open Division: (Orange stake) Scopes allowed, movable sights, unlimited stabilizer length, release aid allowed,  Trophy award. Maximum distance is 45 yards.

Bowhunter: (Red stake) Bow hunting equipment - no scopes or movable sights. Maximum 5 fixed pins, 12" stabilizer length, screw in points, release or fingers allowed. Trophy  award. Maximum distance is 40 yards.

Traditional Recurve: (Green  stake)  Recurve, no sights, fingers only. Any arrow material allowed. Trophy award. Maximum distance is 35 yards.

Traditional Longbow: (Green  stake) Longbow, no sights, fingers only. Any arrow material allowed. Trophy award. Maximum distance is 35 yards.

Women: (Green stake) Inclusive, no breakdown. Trophy award. Maximum distance is 35 yards.

Youth: (White  stake) Age 13-17, inclusive, no breakdown. Trophy award. Maximum distance is 30 yards.

Cubs: (Blue stake) Up to and including age 12, inclusive, no breakdown. Trophy award.  Maximum distance is 25 yards.

2008 3D Scoring

11 Ring is inside of the 10 ring. Arrow shaft must be inside the 11 ring or touching the line of the 11 ring for you to score an 11.

10 ring surrounds the 11 ring and is within the 8 scoring "ring". To score a 10 your arrow must be inside the 10 ring or touching the line of the 10 ring for you to score a 10.

8 scoring area is the area which surrounds the 10 ring. To score an 8 your arrow must be inside the 8 "ring" or touching the line of the 8 "ring"  for you to score an 8.

5 - Anywhere else in the target, then those listed above.

The targets which do not conform to the above scoring standards (ASA scored targets), these targets will be identified as such with a colored dot on the lane number sign.
