Club Championship Rules Rules: - Determination of the Club Champion will be in accordance with our club constitution, by-laws and the rules set forth by the Club Championship Committee, the Board of Directors & voting membership. These rules & qualifications may be amended and or deleted as necessary by the Club Championship Committee only. - Trophies will be awarded to the archers with the highest total score in each of the 10 classes as listed below. Open - Bowhunter - Bow hunting equipment - no scopes or movable sights. Maximum 5 fixed pins, 12" stabilizer length, screw in points, release or fingers allowed. Open Women - Compound bow, women only Open Youth - Compound bow, up to age 17 Open Cubs - Up to and including age 12, compound bow Recurve - Recurve, no sights, fingers only. Any arrow material allowed Longbow - Longbow, no sights, fingers only. Any arrow material allowed Women Traditional – Longbow or Recurve, women only Youth Traditional – Longbow or Recurve, up to age 17 Cubs Traditional - Up to and including age 12, Recurve or Longbow - In cases of the Traditional shoots on Saturday &
Sunday; also any other two-day shoot events, only the 1st attempted score on the course will be counted. - Each archer's best scores out of 2/3rds of the shoots will be totaled for the final score.
- Those Members who wish to compete in a more challenging class other than their standard class will be competitive in their original equipment class group for the club championship award only. No compensation will be given
for competing in the more difficult class. Qualifications: - Must be a Current Dixie Bowmen member on or before the 3rd shoot of each year. - To be eligible for these Club Championship awards each member must attend a minimum of 2/3rds of the year's standard 3-D courses. (Excluding the Trad Rendezvous and any other Novelty courses unless authorized by the Club Championship Committee & the Board of Directors) - Each class must have at least 2 people for an award to be given; with the exception of the Cub's classes which may have only 1 person competing for an award. - Members that join by the 3rd shoot of the season have the ability to drop their 2 lowest scores of the year's shoots for the final total. Each member must meet all qualifications stated above to be eligible for the Club Championship award.
